After several weeks of looking for an easy-to-use point and shoot digital camera, Nikon's Coolpix 5900 stood out from the rest. I have to admit, the search was not too hard, considering my bias towards Nikon, which however has been justified more than once.
Winning points
- Rechargable battery
- Stylishly compact
- Useful presets (esp. the macro shooting setting)
- Light to handle
- Did I mention compact ?
The include software was dissapointing, but with Windows XP and Picassa, the basics of uploading and printing pictures are more than amply covered.
