Feels good not having to use up huge amounts of harddrive real estate, just to be able to do simple wordprocessing. It remains to be seen if (or maybe how soon) the responsiveness of these online apps can match or come very close to the desktop ones. Writely's inter operability with existing word documents, would probably be its most attractive feature right now. Between OpenOffice 2.0 and Writely, Micro$oft has to come up with a better justification for charging $$$ for MS Office - a giant, security flaws ridden, processor & memory hoggin', slow as molasses but otherwise great software.
